KELLI KIKCIO
Kelli is a multidisciplinary artist and designer from Saskatoon, SK, Canada. Currently based in Brooklyn, NY, Kelli works full time as a machine-free tattooer from her private studio. With over 10 years experience tattooing, Kelli has established and owned two Brooklyn tattoo shops: Welcome Home Studio (co-founded) & Confessions NY (solo), seeing 7 years total in operation. Kelli works from a trauma informed perspective and covets the consent and trust of her clients.
In addition to tattooing, Kelli pursues a fine arts career with a focus on soft sculpture. Often working with concepts from childhood, Kelli’s work evokes feelings of nostalgia, comfort, and playfulness. With a penchant for handcrafting, Kelli regularly utilizes traditional crafting techniques, in conjunction with her cool, contemporary perspective.
In 2012, Kelli received a Bachelor of Design with a Major in Fashion Design and a Minor in Entrepreneurship from Toronto Metropolitan University. Upon graduating, she worked for Made-in-Canada fashion labels, 18 Waits, and Muttonhead Apparel, and later co-founded Toronto-based bespoke design collective, Boneset Studio.
Her interests lie in exploring new mediums, keeping her hands busy, and working directly with individuals. Kelli loves problem solving and creating with her clients and other collaborators through both custom design and creative direction.
